The RILM Abstracts of Music Literature (RILM) database has been reloaded.

In addition, Ovid has made the following changes to the database:

5 New Fields

Label   Field Name   What's New
DO   DOI  

The DOI (DO) field contains the Digital Object Identifier - a unique and persistent digital identification code for any object of intellectual property. The DOI itself consists of two parts: a prefix which is assigned to each publisher by the administrative DOI agency, e.g., "10.1097", and a suffix which is assigned by the publisher and can be any code that the publisher chooses, e.g., "00045415-200111000-00002". The full DOI appears as such: "10.1097/00045415-200 111000-00002"

DY   Dynamic  

The Dynamic (DY) field tells if the resource contents may change over time.

PR   Requires Payment  

The Requires Payment (PR) field indicates web resource requires payment.

RN   Requires Registration  

The Requires Registration (RN) field indicates web resource requires registration.

TA   Translated Author  

The Translated Author (TA) field contains non-English author in the original document language. If the translated author was in a non-Roman alphabet, the translated author is transliterated or is not present.
